The SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Technician operates, sets up, and maintains automated machinery such as pick-and-place machines, screen printers, and reflow ovens to assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs). They ensure production quality through inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Job Summary: The Process and Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the Production Operation and Process Engineer. Duties and Responsibilities: Work with the team according to Kaertech core values (Respect, Discipline, Teamwork, Excellence, Commitment, Continuous Improvement, and Accountability). Perform duties to install and maintain production machines. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Maintain spare parts inventory for all machines inside the production area. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment which include documentation, calibration. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Perform other duties assigned by Process and Maintenance Engineer Fill up maintenance checklist for line process monitoring. Assist in acquiring process cycle time for capacity planning. Support process engineer with process and equipment qualification. Design tooling and fixtures for manufacturing by collaborating with the mechanical and electrical engineering teams. Assists in creating, modifying and revising manufacturing work instructions and process flow documentation. Provides technical support and training to assembly and manufacturing personnel. Provide cost calculation for certain rework activity Job Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering, or related field 2+ year(s) hands-on work experience in a PCBA manufacturing environment Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and critical thinking skills Machine repair and maintenance experience is a plus Linear Thinking Skills Analytical Skills Observational and organizational skills Proficient in Employer-Specific Equipment

The Procurement and Sourcing Specialist is responsible in the procurement of products or items based on the requirements of the requesting departments in a cost-effective manner. The function includes coordination with suppliers and sourcing of vendors when necessary as well as the processes required to purchase and to ensure that a full stock inventory is maintained.
